Clutter Free Christmas Tips
The festive season is fast approaching us, so time to get planning. One of the things I have heard so many times over the years is where are we going to put this stuff? By planning ahead you can hopefully reduce the overwhelm and hopefully you’ll have a clutter free Christmas.
Have a pre-Christmas clearout –
I am sure your children have grown out of lots of items this year. Take some time out to sort through the toyboxes and box up items that are no longer played with then you can sell them. The massive bonus of selling on items that are no longer needed means you will not only be making space but cash towards the festive season.
Plan ahead –

If you have brought toys that have got small bits that you are likely to be forever picking up, think about having storage ready, so that items won’t be laying around gathering dust
Don’t overbuy –
It can be so easy to go all out when buying for your Little Pickles but remember they can only play with one thing at a time. Make a list with a budget and keep to it. Think about the space you have for toys and consider this when shopping.
Gift Experiences –
There are so many options for clutter-free gifts that you and your family can enjoy throughout the year. Whether it is an annual pass to your favourite zoo or soft play. A term of Pre-school or after school classes. Or a day out in the city, memories live forever and don’t take up much room in the house!
One more –
This is a slightly controversial one but here goes. Millions of unwanted gifts are given each year. If you or your children are gifted things you don’t want or need, whether it is a duplicate or just not your taste, consider taking it back and exchanging it for something you will definitely use. Otherwise unwanted gifts will just clutter up home.
